Decorating Ideas
Spread your Incredible
Hulk tablecover
on your party table. If your child has any theme-related toys, you can
add them to the table for a more festive display.
Cut several one-to-two-foot-long pieces of curling
ribbon. Curl the ribbon by pulling it between your thumb and the blade
of your scissors. Lay the resulting curls on your table for added color.
Hang
balloons in bunches for the best effect. If you choose to fill balloons
with helium, wait until the party day to ensure they float well!
Use balloons to mark the party spot;
hang them on the mailbox, near the front door, or tie them to the
birthday child's chair to mark the seat of honor.
Place balloons anywhere that strikes your fancy. The
more the better!
Gather six or eight purple, yellow and emerald green
streamers and
attach them to the ceiling in the center of the party room (or over the
table). Use a light fixture over the table, if you have one, as the
center point for the streamers.
To create colorful two-tone streamers, put two
differently colored streamers back-to-back, twist as you walk them to
the wall, and attach at shoulder height.

Incredible Green Cupcakes
A delicious treat awaits each guest
with these fun cupcakes. Make your favorite vanilla cupcake recipe
or purchase boxed vanilla cake mix. Before baking, add green food
coloring to the batter. Place cupcake liners in a muffin tin and
scoop in the green batter. Bake according to instructions and cool
completely.
Make or purchase white icing and
tint it green with food coloring; frost the top of each cupcake.
Decorate with theme-related toppers, green candles, or your child’s
favorite green candies. Let the birthday child decorate them before
the party if you wish.
Note: Do not remove the cupcake
liners from the cupcakes before serving. Your guests will enjoy
unwrapping their cupcakes to discover they are green!

Pesto Pasta
For this naturally green dish, you’ll need a package of
spaghetti noodles or angel hair pasta, grated parmesan cheese and
prepared pesto sauce. Cook pasta according to package directions.
Drain and toss with pesto sauce in a large bowl. Serve a portion
to each child and top with parmesan cheese!
Monster Brain Vegetable Dip
Cut the top from a small pumpkin or gourd and remove the
insides. Make your favorite vegetable dip, tint it green with food
color, and fill the empty gourd.
Draw or paint a scary monster face on your gourd, or create
facial features using fruits and vegetables: string beans (hair),
raisins (nostrils), peas (pupils), round carrot slices (eyes),
dried apple (ears), etc. attaching them with tooth picks or glue.
Serve on a large tray with carrot sticks, pieces of celery,
crackers and other snack food your child enjoys. Your guests will
love dipping their food in the monster's brain!
Green Guzzler
Create a delicious drink that's as green as The Hulk! Add a few
drops of green food coloring to your favorite light-colored
beverage: lemonade, lemon-lime soda and apple juice all work well.
For fun, make green ice cubes to add to your green beverage!

Green Garlic Bread
A perfect complement to your pesto pasta! Purchase
ready-to-bake garlic bread or make your own at home. Chop 1/4 cup
parsley or cilantro and sprinkle it over the garlic butter before
warming the garlic bread in the oven. Your guests will be
delighted with this green cuisine!
Smashed Potatoes
Treat your guests to a party dish smashed by The
Hulk himself! The birthday child will enjoy helping prepare it
before the party, and you’ll love how easy it is to make! To
begin, scrub, peel and cut up several large potatoes into 2-inch
chunks. Place them in a large saucepan with enough water to cover
them. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes
are tender when poked with a fork; drain.
Return the potatoes to the pot and smash them
with a potato masher. Add butter and milk; mix well. Season with
salt and pepper. Don’t forget the green food color!

Let the birthday child start out as The Incredible Hulk.
For fun, dress him or her in a green shirt, monster wig or other
Hulk-related accessory!
To begin the game all players stand around The Incredible
Hulk with their arms outstretched, touching some part of him with their
hands. They all chant, “His skin is green and man, he’s mean!” Then, at an
unpredictable speed—the point is to trick the players—The Hulk chants back,
“I’m big and bad, and now...I’m mad!”
At the sound of the word “mad” (but not before) all the
players run away while The Hulk begins chasing them. If The Hulk tags a
player, that player becomes frozen. The only way a frozen player can be
freed is for an untagged player to crawl under the frozen player’s legs.
Note: Players are safe when crawling under someone else. The game continues
until everyone is frozen. Play again with a different child as The
Incredible Hulk!

Monster Muscles
|
Your guests will grow muscles instantly, just like The
Incredible Hulk! To prepare for this game, inflate 50 to 100 small green
balloons before the party. When it’s time to play, divide your guests into
two teams. Select one child on each team to be Bruce Banner, the scientist
who transforms into a green-skinned monster when he’s angry or under extreme
stress.
Gather teams on opposite sides of the room and divide the
balloons equally between them. Dress each team’s Bruce in a union suit
(one-piece long underwear) over their clothes. When you say "GO," both teams
must turn their Bruce into The Incredible Hulk by stuffing as many balloons
as possible into the union suits. Give the teams one minute to do this. When
time is up, let everyone admire each team’s quickly transformed Hulk! Then
remove and count the balloons. The team that uses the most balloons, wins!
Feed The Hulk
Using The Hulk picture from Hulk for a day as a target,
have a bean bag tossing contest! Place the target about 10 feet away, and
give each child a chance to toss some bean bags through the hole.
Make a Face!
Although The Incredible Hulk is
known for his mean expressions and angry, intimidating looks, it
will be hard for your guests to play this game without laughing!
Seat your guests in a circle, facing outward, and let the birthday
child go first. To begin, he or she turns to the child on the left
and makes an intimidating face. The second child turns to the next
person and tries to make the same face, and so on around the circle.
The game continues until the last person has seen the expression.
Then, the last person and first person stand and make the face
together. Chances are they will be different, but everyone will get
a good laugh!
Hulk for a Day
Draw a large picture of The Hulk on a big piece of
cardboard, and cut out a hole for the face. Let each child hold the
poster up to his or her face and make their best Hulk expression
while you take a picture. For fun, paint the children’s faces green
with face paint. Mail the developed or digital photos to guests
later, or take instant snapshots for memorable party favors!
